This elegant Georgian basting spoon, crafted in 1757 by the accomplished silversmith John Lampfert, is a fine example of mid-18th century British silverwork. Originating from London during the reign of George II (1727–1759), the spoon is in lovely condition with only slight rubbing to the hallmarks—a testament to its age and authenticity and weighing a solid 86 grams.
