Design:
These Inverness tablespoons showcase the restrained elegance typical of the period, fiddle pattern design with gently tapering handles and classic oval bowls. The proportions are generous yet balanced, speaking to their practical use as well as their decorative appeal. Robert Naughton’s workmanship is evident in the clean lines and consistent form across the matched set. The engraved initials “JR” add a layer of authenticity, while the overall condition remains excellent—testament to both the quality of the original silver and the care with which it has been preserved. These pieces are a fine example of Inverness provincial silver, rarely found in matched sets of such integrity.
