This is a lovely and collectable Scottish Provincial tablespoon made in Greenock by Andrew Clark in 1800, during the George III period (1760–1819). It has a good solid weight of 63g and is in very good condition, with only a tiny ding in the bowl.
The spoon has clear hallmarks and is engraved with the letter “M”, adding a nice personal touch. This is a good example of Georgian silver and would make a useful addition to any collection of Scottish silver.
